How does ZeroLag actually lower my ping?

The Windows app compares your normal Counter-Strike 2 route with the available route through ZeroLag's Istanbul launch location. You can connect when that measured route looks healthier. Results vary with your ISP, server, and current network path.

Is it a VPN?

No. A VPN wraps all your traffic and routes it to one location. ZeroLag only accelerates the specific game process you pick, using split-tunneling. Your browser, voice chat, and everything else take the normal route.

Will it get me banned?

ZeroLag changes the network path used by your game traffic; it does not modify game files, memory, or inputs. You remain responsible for following Counter-Strike 2 and Steam rules.

Is ZeroLag a safe app?

The submitted Windows version of ZeroLag passed Microsoft Store certification and is available through its official Store listing and zerolagapp.com. Microsoft says Store submissions receive security and content-compliance checks, with security testing that includes malware scanning. Certification is a meaningful independent trust signal, but no store review can guarantee that any software is completely risk-free. Install ZeroLag only from one of its official sources.

Which games are supported?

Counter-Strike 2 and Deadlock are the games currently live on ZeroLag. The games page lists the other titles planned for later; a coming-soon label does not mean a game is supported today.

Does it work on console?

No. The current launch product is a Windows desktop app. Console and router support are not part of the public launch offer.

Use the 3-day free trial to compare the same CS2 server on your normal route and the ZeroLag route. No card is required, and the trial ends without a charge if you do not subscribe.
